Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Abu Jamilah, from Ishaq ibn Ammar, who said, I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘a fasting person deliberately immersed himself in water. Is he required to make up that day?’ Imam عليه السلام said: “He is not required to make it up, but he must not do it again."
