From him, from Ayyub ibn Nuh, from al-Abbas ibn Amir, from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar and Dawud ibn al-Husayn, who said: Imam عليه السلام was asked about a man who missed one rak‘ah of Maghrib with the imam (of prayer) and caught the remaining two rak’ahs. Are those two (rak’ahs) considered his first, while they are the second and third for the group? And does he recite tashahhud in them? Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes”. I asked: “And the second one also?” Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes”. I asked: “All of them?” Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes, for it is a blessing.”
