Sa’ad, from al-Hasan ibn al-Husayn al-Lu'lu'i, from al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Faddal, from Abu al-Ma‘za Humayd ibn al-Muthanna, from Imran, from Muhammad ibn Ali: (Muhammad ibn Ali) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about a man who is traveling and enters into prayer with those who are residing. Imam عليه السلام said: “Then he should pray his (shortened) prayer and give the salutation (taslim), and he should make the last two (rak‘ahs) as supererogatory (subha).”
