Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad, from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad, from al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Washsha, who said: I heard Imam al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, say: “If the sun passes the zenith (zawat al-shams) while you are in the city (al-misr) and you intend to travel, then complete (the prayer); but if you depart after the zenith, then shorten the ‘Asr (prayer).”
