Ali ibn Ibrahim from Muhammad ibn Isa from Yunus ibn Abd al-Rahman from Ishaq ibn Ammar, who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about the sailors (al-mallahin) and the Bedouins (al-a‘rab), is the shortening of the prayer (taqsir) obligatory upon them? Imam عليه السلام said: “No, their ‘homes’ are with them.”
