From him, from Ibn Jabalah from Ali ibn Abi Hamzah from Abu Basir: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “The prayer in residence (not while traveling) is eight rak‘ahs after the sun has passed its zenith, during the time between you and when two-thirds of a shadow’s length (qamah) passes. When two-thirds of the qamah have passed, you must begin with the obligatory prayer.”
