Ali ibn Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abi Umair, from Hammad, from Al-Halabi: Abu Abdullah عليه السلام was asked regarding stagnant water. Imam عليه السلام said: "You may perform wudu (ablution) with it unless you find other water, in which case avoid it."
