Chapter on Water and Its Rules, and What is Permissible and Impermissible for Purification

Hadith #37

وَ بِهَذَا اَلْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« إِنَّمَا هِيَ مِنْ أَهْلِ اَلْبَيْتِ».

And with this chain of narration, from al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from al-Hasan, from Zur'ah, from Sama‘ah, from Abu Abdullah , who said: (Imam) Ali said: "Indeed, it (the cat) is one of the members of the household."
