Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Yaḥyā al-ʿAṭṭār narrated to us, saying that his father narrated to him among others, saying that Muḥammad b. Abī’l-Ṣihbān narrated to him among others, from Ibn Abī ʿUmayr, who reports that Mūsā b. Jaʿfar عليه السلام has said: “Absolved of his sins is he who performs the ritual bath for the Night of Power and then revives it—spending the whole night in worship—until the break of dawn.”
