7. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from al-Fadl ibn Yunus who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, Musa عليه السلام, has said, ‘It is not obligatory upon a slave to perform al-Hajj or al-‘Umrah until he is free.’”
