2ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي الْعَلاءِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله عَنْ أَبِيهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لِدُورِ مَكَّةَ أَبْوَابٌ وَكَانَ أَهْلُ الْبُلْدَانِ يَأْتُونَ بِقِطْرَانِهِمْ فَيَدْخُلُونَ فَيَضْرِبُونَ بِهَا وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ بَوَّبَهَا مُعَاوِيَةُ.
2. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Yahya’ ibn abu al-‘ Ala’ who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah , has said that the houses of Makkah did not have any doors. People of other lands would come with their transporting animals, enter and stay there. The first person who installed doors on them was Mu‘awiyah.”
