2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following:

“I once asked abu Ja’far, al-Thani , saying, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, a man of our people has thrown pebbles on al-Jamar on the day of al-Nahr (slaughtering the offering, 10th of Dhu al-Hajjah) and shaved before slaughtering his offering.’ He (the Imam) said, ’It was the day of al-Nahr (slaughtering the offering, 10th of Dhu al-Hajjah) when many groups of Muslim people came to the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause. They said, “O Messenger of Allah, we slaughtered before throwing pebbles and shaved before slaughtering our offering. Nothing was left of the acts that were before but they had delayed or that which was later they had done it before.” The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, said, “You are not required to face any complexity. There is no difficulty (to cause suffering).””’
