10. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn abu Najran from Muthanna’ al-Hannat from abu Basir who has the following:
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah , say about a woman who is for al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous). She assumes the state of Ihram in a Hayd (menses)-free condition, then experiences Hayd (menses) before the time for taking advantage is over. ‘She, without Tawaf, must perform Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah. Then perform Qada’ (compensatory tawaf for) her Tawaf. The time for taking advantage passes. In case, if she assumes the state of Ihram, when she experiences Hayd (menses), she must not perform Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah or Tawaf until she is clean.’”
