5ـ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَم) عَنِ النِّسَاءِ يَطُفْنَ عَلَى الإِبِلِ وَالدَّوَابِّ أَ يُجْزِئُهُنَّ أَنْ يَقِفْنَ تَحْتَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ قَالَ نَعَمْ بِحَيْثُ يَرَيْنَ الْبَيْتَ.

Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s), about the case of women who perform Sa‘y between al-Safa’ and al-Marwah on camels and stumpers; if they can stop below al-Safa’ and al-Marwah. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, they can do so in a way that they can see the House.’”
