7. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Muhammad ibn ’Ubayd Allah who has said the following: “I once asked al-Rida’ , about the case of the Black Stone if it is permissible for people to fight, so that they can touch it. He (the Imam) said,

‘If that becomes the case then just make a gesture toward it with your hand.’”
