A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Hamzah ibn abu Ya‘liy from Muhammad ibn al- Hassan ibn abu Khalid in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “He (the Imam) , has said, ‘If the crescent of the month of Rajab is established, then count fifty nine days and fast the sixtieth day.’”
