6. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from Hammad ibn ‘Uthaman who has said the following:
“I once asked abu Ja‘far , about the case of one of my friends who has come to al- ’A‘was in the month of Ramadan; if I can go to meet him and stop fasting. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, you can do so.’ I then asked, ‘Should I go to meet him and stop fasting or stay home and fast?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You should go to meet him and stop fasting.’”
