From Safwan ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muskan from Layth al-Muradiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘If one travels in the month of Ramadan he must stop fasting; but if he fasts because of ignorance, he is not required to complete its Qada’ (compensatory fast).”
