8. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Marwak ibn ‘Ubayd from his father, ‘Ubayd who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘O ‘Ubayd, excessive spending causes poverty but moderation leads to wealth.’”
