12- أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ فِي الْقَائِمِ ع وَ لا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتابَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَطالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَ كَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ فاسِقُونَ
Informed me Ali bin Hatim in what he wrote to me that: Narrated to us Humaid bin Ziyad from Hasan bin Ali bin Sama-a from Ahmad bin Hasan Muthanna from Sama-a et al from Abi Abdullah 
that he said:
The following verse is revealed about the Qaim:
And (that) they should not be like those who were given the Book before, but the time became prolonged to them, so their hearts hardened, and most of them are transgressors.25
