Hadith #6
وَ رَوَى زُرْعَةُ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلْمُسْلِمِ هَلْ يَرِثُ اَلْمُشْرِكَ فَقَالَ "نَعَمْ فَأَمَّا اَلْمُشْرِكُ فَلاَ يَرِثُ اَلْمُسْلِمَ ".
Zurah narrated from Samaah from Abu Abdullah
عليه السلام
who said:
I asked Imam
عليه السلام
whether a Muslim can inherit from a polytheist. Imam
عليه السلام
replied: "Yes, but a polytheist does not inherit from a Muslim."
