Chapter on the Acknowledgment of Debt by a Sick Person in Favor of an Heir

Hadith #5541

5541 - وَ رَوَى حَمَّادٌ عَنِ اَلْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ : قُلْتُ لَهُ اَلرَّجُلُ يُقِرُّ لِوَارِثٍ بِدَيْنٍ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ "يَجُوزُ إِذَا كَانَ مَلِيّاً".

Hadith.5541 - Hammad narrated from Al-Halabi from Abu Abdullah , who said: 'I asked Imam about a man who acknowledges a debt to one of his heirs.' Imam said: "It is permissible if he is solvent (financially capable)."
