It is narrated from Abdullah bin Sinan who said: I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام about a child born out of wedlock, can he be sold, purchased, and employed as a servant? Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes." I said: "Can he be married?" Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, but do not seek her offspring."
