Hadith #42

3607 - وَ قَالَ سَدِيرٌ اَلصَّيْرَفِيُّ : قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ عَلَى اَلرَّجُلِ فِي طَلَبِ اَلرِّزْقِ فَقَالَ "يَا سَدِيرُ إِذَا فَتَحْتَ بَابَكَ وَ بَسَطْتَ بِسَاطَكَ فَقَدْ قَضَيْتَ مَا عَلَيْكَ".

Hadith.3607 - Sadir Al-Sayrafi said: I asked Abu Abdullah : "What is required of a man in seeking sustenance?" Imam replied: "O Sadir, if you open your door and spread your mat, then you have fulfilled what is required of you."
