Hadith.2237 - It has been narrated: "One obligatory prayer is better than twenty Hajj, and one Hajj is better than a house filled with gold given in charity until nothing remains."
The author of this book, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى be pleased with him, commented: These two narrations are consistent and not contradictory. This is because Hajj includes prayer, while prayer does not include Hajj. Thus, in this aspect, Hajj is superior to prayer. However, one obligatory prayer is better than twenty Hajj that are devoid of the element of prayer.
