1635 - وَ فِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ مَمْلُوكٌ فِي يَدِهِ مَالٌ أَ عَلَيْهِ زَكَاةٌ قَالَ «لاَ» قَالَ قُلْتُ فَعَلَى سَيِّدِهِ فَقَالَ «لاَ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَصِلْ إِلَى اَلسَّيِّدِ وَ لَيْسَ هُوَ لِلْمَمْلُوكِ.
Hadith.1635 - In another report from Abdullah ibn Sinan, he said:
I asked him (Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq 
) "A slave has wealth in his possession. Is Zakat obligatory on it?"
The Imam replied: "No."
I then asked: "Is it obligatory on his master?"
Imam replied: "No, because it has not reached the master, and it does not belong to the slave."
