Hadith.1721 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said:
"I guarantee for the one who practices moderation that they will not face poverty."
Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Glorified and Exalted, said:
"They ask you what they should spend. Say: 'What is surplus.'" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:219) – and 'surplus' refers to moderation.
And Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Glorified and Exalted, also said:
"And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly, but keep to a balance between those extremes." (Surah Al-Furqan, 25:67) – 'balance' refers to moderation.
