Hadith.1411 - It is narrated by Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Abdullah from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام that He said: "The Qunoot (supplication) in the Witr prayer is for seeking forgiveness, while in the obligatory (prayers) it is for supplication (general prayers)”.
