Hadith.1298 - Ali ibn Yaqtin asked Abu al-Hasan about a man who sets out on a journey and then decides to stay (reside) while he is in the midst of prayer.
Imam
said: "He should complete (the full prayer) when he decides to stay."
He also asked about a man who accompanies his brother to the point where shortening prayers and breaking the fast becomes obligatory.
Imam
said: "There is no harm in that."
