The Rules of Forgetfulness (Sahw) in Prayer
Hadith #4
وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
«لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يَعُدَّ اَلرَّجُلُ صَلاَتَهُ بِخَاتَمِهِ أَوْ بِحَصًى يَأْخُذُ بِيَدِهِ فَيَعُدُّ بِهِ.
In the narration of Abdullah ibn al-Mughira, it is said:
"There is no harm if a man counts his prayers using his ring or by using pebbles that he holds in his hand and counts with them."
