Hadith.814 - Muhammad ibn Ismail ibn Bazi' asked Abu Al-Hasan Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha عليه السلام, about praying in a garment with patterns (decorations), and the Imam disliked it if it contained images (representations).
Praying in a belt (headband) with a silk end is not permitted. There is no issue with praying in garments made from Khwarazmian furs or those tanned in the land of Hijaz. Also, there is no issue with praying in the wool of a dead animal because wool does not have a soul.
