Hadith #4
وَ سَأَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخَاهُ مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنِ اَلصَّلاَةِ فِي بَيْتِ اَلْحَمَّامِ فَقَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ اَلْمَوْضِعُ نَظِيفاً فَلاَ بَأْسَ بِالصَّلاَةِ» يَعْنِي اَلْمَسْلَخَ.
Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim
عليه السلام
about praying in the bathhouse. Imam
عليه السلام
said: "If the place is clean, then there is no harm in praying, referring specifically to the changing area (maslakh).”
