Hadith #438
438 - وَقَالَ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «إِذَا مَاتَ اَلْمَيِّتُ فِي اَلْبَحْرِ غُسِّلَ وَ حُنِّطَ وَ كُفِّنَ ثُمَّ يُوثَقُ فِي رِجْلِهِ حَجَرٌ وَ يُرْمَى بِهِ فِي اَلْمَاءِ.
Hadith.438 - The Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib
عليه السلام
said:
"When a person dies at sea, they are washed, anointed (with Hunut), and shrouded. Then a stone should be tied to their leg, and they should be cast into the water."
