Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Ja‘far ibn Bashir from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman from Idris ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Qummiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah , about a man who performs Salah (prayer) and a woman is in his view, standing on furnishing on his side. He (the Imam) said, ‘If she is sitting, it is not harmful, but if she is performing Salah (prayer), then it is not acceptable.’”
