14. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Al-Husayn ibn abu al-‘Ala’ who has said the following:
“I once asked abu ’Abd Allah , about the ring during taking Ghusl (bath). He (the Imam) said, ’(You must) change its place.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You can turn the ring during Wudu’ but if you forget until you are in your Salah (prayer); I do not command you to perform your Salah (prayer) again.’”
