حدثنا جعفر بن علي بن الحسن بن علي بن عبد الله بن المغيرة الكوفي، قال: حدثنا جدي الحسن بن علي، عن جده عبد الله بن المغيرة، عن إسماعيل بن مسلم، عن الصادق جعفر بن محمد، عن أبيه، عن آبائه (عليهم السلام)، قال: قال أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام):
كانت الفقهاء والحكماء إذا كاتب بعضهم بعضا، كتبوا بثلاث ليس معهن رابعة، من كانت الآخرة همه كفاه الله همه من الدنيا، ومن أصلح سريرته أصلح الله علانيته، ومن أصلح فيما بينه وبين الله عزوجل أصلح الله له فيما بينه وبين الناس (1).
Ja`far b. `Ali b. al-Hasan b. `Ali b. `Abdullah b. al-Mughira al-Kufi narrated to us. He said: My grandfather al-Hasan b. `Ali narrated to us from his grandfather `Abdullah b. al-Mughira from Isma`il b. Muslim from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers . He said: Amir al-Mu’minin
said:
When the scholars and the wisemen of the past wrote to one another, they wrote only about three things, without a fourth: (1) Whoever is worried about the Hereafter, Allah will take care of his worries in this world. (2) Whoever rectifies his inner self, Allah will rectify his outer self. (3) Whoever rectifies that which is between him and Allah, Allah will rectify that which is between him and the people.
