Al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. Idris narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us from Muhammad b. Sinan. He said: Abu’l Jarud Ziyad b. al-Mundhir narrated to us from Sa`id b. Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said:

The wilaya of Amir al-Mu’minin is the wilaya of Allah. Loving him is the worship of Allah. Obeying him is obligated by Allah. His friends are the friends of Allah, his enemies are the enemies of Allah, his war is Allah’s war, and his peace is Allah’s peace.
