Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us from `Ali b. Hassan al-Wasiti from `Abd al-Rahman b. Kathir al-Hashimi. He said: I heard Aba `Abdillah al-Sadiq say:

Gabriel descended upon the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Muhammad! Surely, Allah recites the salaam to you, and He says: “Surely, I have prohibited the Fire (of Hell) upon the loins that bequeathed you, the womb that carried you, and the rock that adopted you.” So, he said: O Gabriel! Could you clarify that for me? So, he said: As for the loins that bequeathed you, that is `Abdullah b. `Abd al-Muttalib. As for the womb that carried you, that is Amina bt. Wahb. As for the rock that adopted you, that is Abu Talib b. `Abd al-Muttalib and Fatima bt. Asad.
