`Ali b. Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Qazwini Abu’l Hasan known as Ibn Maqbara narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. `Amer narrated to us. He said: `Asim b. Yusuf narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Ayyub al-Kilabi narrated to us. He said: `Amr b. Sulayman narrated to us from Zayd b. Thabit. He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever loves `Ali in his life and after his death, Allah shall safeguard him from everything that the Sun rises and sets upon. He who hates him in his life and after his death shall die the death of Jahiliyya and be held accountable for what he did.
