Ahmad b. Harun al-Fami narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us from his father from Harun b. Muslim from Mas`ada b. Ziyad from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father .

The Messenger of Allah (s) was asked: In what is our salvation anon? So, he said: Surely, salvation is in not [trying] to deceive Allah, lest He deceive you. Whoever deceives Allah, Allah will deceive him and strip faith from him – he deceives himself, if he but knew. So, it was said to him: How could he deceive Allah? He said: He does what Allah commands, but he does it for other than Him. So, fear Allah, and avoid flaunting (riya’), for it is associating partners with Allah (shirk billah). Surely, the flaunter will be called by four names on the Day of Resurrection: “O disbeliever, O transgressor, O treacherous, O loser! Your deeds have fallen, and your reward has been nullified. There will be no reward for you today.” So, seek your reward from Him that you are working for.
