Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from al-`Abbas b. Ma`ruf from Hammad b. `Isa from Hariz b. `Abdullah or another person. He said:

A group from the Juhayna [tribe] visited Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq and he hosted them. When they journeyed there, he supplied them, connected them, and gave to them. Then, he said to his servant: Step aside and do not assist them [when they leave]. When they left, they came to him to bid him farewell. So, they said to him: O son of the Messenger of Allah! You have hosted us and beautified your hosting, and you have provided for us and hastened your giving, yet you have commanded your servant to not assist us for our journey. So, he said: We are the People of a House that does not assist its guests in their journey away from us.
