Al-Husayn b. Ibrahim b. Natana narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us from Ja`far b. Salama al-Ahwazi from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Isma`il b. Bashar informed us. He said: `Abdullah b. Balaj al-Misri narrated to us from Ibrahim b. Abi Yahya al-Medini from Muhammad b. al-Munkadir. He said: I heard Aba Umama say: Whenever `Ali would say something, we would not doubt it.

That is because we surely heard the Messenger of Allah (s) say: “The treasurer of my secret after me is `Ali.”
