`Ali b. Ahmad b. `Abdullah b. Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Barqi narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from his grandfather Ahmad b. Abi `Abdullah from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Faddal from `Ali b. `Uqba from his father from Sulayman b. Khalid from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his grandfather . He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) laughed one day until his molar teeth could be seen. Then, he said: Will you not ask me why I laughed? They said: Of course, O Messenger of Allah. He said: I am astonished at the affair of the Muslim person: there is nothing that Allah decides for him except that it is good for him in the end of his affair.
