Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d Abadi narrated to us from Ahmad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Barqi from his father from Muhammad b. `Ali from Ibn Abi `Umayr from Mansur b. Yunus from Abi Basir from Abi `Abdillah al-Sadiq from his forefathers . He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) was travelling with some of his companions in one of the streets of Medina when he dismounted from his riding animal, then fell in prostration and prolonged his prostration. Then, he raised his head and mounted his animal. So, his companions said to him: O Messenger of Allah! We saw you disembark from your animal, then you prostrated and prolonged your prostration. So, he said: Gabriel came to me, recited the salaam of my Lord to me, then gave me glad tidings that He will not disgrace me with regards to my Nation. I do not have wealth to give in charity, nor do I have a slave to free, but I liked to thank my Lord.
