7 - وبهذا الاسناد، قال:
قال أبو جعفر (عليه السلام): كان أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) بالكوفة إذا صلى العشاء الآخرة ينادي الناس ثلاث مرات حتى يسمع أهل المسجد: أيها الناس، تجهزوا رحمكم الله، فقد نودي فيكم بالرحيل، فما التعرج (4) على الدنيا بعد نداء فيها بالرحيل! تجهزوا رحمكم الله وانتقلوا بأفضل ما بحضرتكم من الزاد، وهو التقوى، واعلموا أن طريقكم إلى المعاد، وممركم على الصراط، والهول الاعظم أمامكم، وعلى طريقكم عقبة كؤود (1) ومنازل مهولة مخوفة، لابد لكم من الممر عليها والوقوف بها، فإما برحمة من الله فنجاة من هولها، وعظم خطرها، وفظاعة منظرها، وشدة مختبرها، وإما بهلكة ليس بعدها انجبار (2).
By this isnad. He said: Abu Ja`far 
said:
When Amir al-Mu'minin would lead the final `Isha’ prayer in Kufa, he would say this three times so that the people of the Mosque would hear it: "O people! Prepare yourselves, may Allah have mercy on you, for you have been called for departure. Do not confine yourself to this world after you have been called to leave it! Prepare yourselves, may Allah have mercy on you, with the best provision, and that is God-consciousness. Know that your road is toward the Resurrection, and you will pass over the Path (al-sirat). The great horror is before you, and upon your road is a severe obstacle and houses of horror and fear. You must pass through it and halt at it. If you receive a mercy from Allah, then you will be delivered from its horror, the greatness of its danger, and the severity of its trial. If there is destruction, then there is no solace after it."
