Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn al-Sa`d Abadi narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khalid from `Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Najran from Abi Jamila from Jabir b. Yazid al-Ju`fi from Abi Ja`far Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir from his forefathers . He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s): Whoever conceals a testimony or gives a testimony to shed the blood of a Muslim person or gain the wealth of a Muslim person will come on the Day of Resurrection with a darkness in his face that extends as far as the eye could see. His face will have blemishes. The creatures will know him by name and lineage. Whoever bears a true testimony to enliven the right of a Muslim person, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with a light in his face that extends as far as the eye could see. The creatures will know him by name and lineage. Then, Abu Ja`far said: Do you not see that Allah says, “And bear true testimony for Allah.” (65:2)
