By this isnad from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: Muhammad b. `Ali informed me. He said: Al-`Abbas b. `Abdullah narrated to us from `Abd al-Rahman b. Al-Aswad from `Abd al-Rahman b. Mas`ud from `Ali . He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said:

The most beloved of my Ahl al-Bayt to me and the best [person] I leave behind is `Ali b. Abi Talib.
