Ahmad b. `Isa al-Juludi al-Basri narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Sahl narrated to us. He said: Al-Khidr b. Abi Fatima al-Balkhi narrated to us. He said: Wahib b. Nafi` narrated to us. He said: Kadih narrated to me from Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his father from his forefathers from `Ali (as). 4 - حدثنا أبي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن الحسن المؤدب، عن أحمد بن علي الاصبهاني، عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي، قال: أخبرنا مخول بن إبراهيم، قال: حدثنا عبد الجبار بن العباس الهمداني، عن عمار بن أبي معاوية الدهني، عن عمرة بنت أفعى، قالت: سمعت أم سلمة (رضي الله عنها)، تقول: نزلت هذه الآية في بيتي (إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنكم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا) (4)، قالت: وفي البيت سبعة: رسول الله، وجبرئيل وميكائيل، وعلي، وفاطمة، والحسن، والحسين (صلوات الله عليهم)، قالت: وأنا على الباب، فقلت: يا رسول الله، ألست من أهل البيت؟ قال: إنك من أزواج النبي، وما قال: إنك من أهل البيت (5).

He said: `Abd al-Jabbar b. al-`Abbas al-Hamadani narrated to us from `Ammar b. Abi Mu`awiya al-Dihni from `Amira bt. Af`a. She said: I heard Umm Salama (ra) say: This verse was revealed in my house, “Surely, Allah only wishes to remove uncleanliness from you, O Ahl al-Bayt, and purify you with a thorough purification.” (33:33) She said: There were seven people in the house: The Messenger of Allah, Gabriel, Michael, `Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn (as). She said: I was at the door, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! Am I not from Ahl al-Bayt? He said: You are from the wives of the Prophet. He did not say: You are from Ahl al-Bayt.

5 - وبهذا الاسناد، عن إبراهيم بن محمد الثقفي، قال: أخبرنا إسماعيل ابن أبان الازدي، قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن خراش الشيباني، عن العوام بن حوشب، عن التيمي، قال: دخلت على عائشة فحدثتنا أنها رأت رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) دعا عليا وفاطمة والحسن والحسين (عليهم السلام): فقال: اللهم هؤلاء أهل بيتي، فأذهب عنهم الرجس وطهرهم تطهيرا (6).

He said: I visited `A’isha, and she narrated to us that she saw the Messenger of Allah (s) praying for `Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn (as). He was saying: O Allah! These are my Ahl al-Bayt, so remove uncleanliness from them and purify them with a thorough purification.

6 - حدثنا أبي (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن محمد بن عامر، عن المعلي بن محمد البصري، عن جعفر بن سليمان، عن عبد الله بن الحكم، عن أبيه، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله): إن عليا وصيي وخليفتي، وزوجته فاطمة سيدة نساء العالمين ابنتي، والحسن والحسين سيدا شباب أهل الجنة ولداي، من والاهم فقد والاني، ومن عاداهم فقد عاداني، ومن ناواهم فقد ناواني، ومن جفاهم فقد جفاني، ومن برهم فقد برني، وصل الله من وصلهم، وقطع من قطعهم، ونصر من نصرهم، وأعان من أعانهم، وخذل من خذلهم، اللهم من كان له من أنبيائك ورسلك ثقل وأهل بيت، فعلي وفاطمة والحسن والحسين أهل بيتي وثقلي، فأذهب عنهم الرجس وطهرهم تطهيرا (1).

My father (rh) narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. Muhammad b. `Amer narrated to us from al-Mu`alla b. Muhammad al-Basri rom Ja`far b. Sulayman from `Abdullah b. al-Hakam from his father from Sa`id b. Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said: The Prophet (s) said: Surely, `Ali is my deputy and my vicegerent. His wife, Fatima, the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds, is my daughter. Al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the two Masters of the Youth of Paradise, are my two sons. Whoever aligns with them has aligned with me, and whoever opposes them has opposed me, and whoever defies them has defied me, and whoever is neglectful of them is neglectful of me, and whoever is good to them is good to me. Allah will connect with whoever connects with them, and He will cut off whoever cuts them off, and He will support whoever aids them, and He will cause failure to whoever fails them. O Allah! Each of Your prophets and Your messengers had a heavyweight and a family. So, `Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn are my family and my heavyweight; so, remove all uncleanliness from them, and purify them with a thorough purification.

Yazid al-Nawfali from `Ali b. Salim from his father from Thabit b. Abi Safiyya from Sa`id b Jubayr from Ibn `Abbas. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever would be gladdened by Allah gathering all goodness for him should align with `Ali after me; and align with his supporters and oppose his enemies.

He said: `Abdullah b. Numayr narrated to us from al-Harith b. Hasira from Abi Sulayman Zayd b. Wahb from `Abdullah b. `Abbas. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: My wilaya and the wilaya of my Ahl al-Bayt is a safeguard from the Fire.

9 - حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى العطار (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن جعفر بن محمد الفزاري، عن عباد بن يعقوب، عن منصور بن أبي نويرة، عن أبي  بكر بن عياش، عن أبي قدامة الفداني، قال: قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من من الله عليه بمعرفة أهل بيتي وولايتهم، فقد جمع الله له الخير كله (1).

أبي قدامة الفدني

Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar (rh) narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Ja`far b. Muhammad al-Fazari from `Abbad b. Ya`qub from Mansur b. Abi Nuwayra from Abi Bakr b. `Ayash from Abi Qudama al-Fadani. He said: The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Whoever is blessed by Allah with the recognition of my Ahl al-Bayt and their wilaya, Allah will gather all goodness for him.

10 - حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن المتوكل (رحمه الله)، قال: حدثنا محمد بن أبي عبد الله الكوفي، قال: حدثنا موسى بن عمران النخعي، عن عمه الحسين بن يزيد النوفلي، عن الحسن بن علي بن أبي حمزة، عن أبي بصير، قال: قال الصادق جعفر بن محمد (عليه السلام): من أقام فرائض الله، واجتنب محارم الله، وأحسن الولاية لاهل بيت نبي الله، وتبرأ من أعداء الله عز وجل، فليدخل من أي أبواب الجنة الثمانية شاء (2).

Muhammad b. Musa b. al-Mutawakkil (rh) narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. Abi `Abdillah al-Kufi narrated to us. He said: Musa b. `Imran al-Nakha`i narrated to us from his uncle al-Husayn b. Yazid al-Nawfali from al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Abi Hamza from Abi Basir. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad (as) said: Whoever establishes the obligations of Allah, abstains from what Allah has prohibited, perfects his wilaya to the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet of Allah, and dissociates from the enemies of Allah will enter from whichever of the eight gates of Paradise that he wishes.

11 - حدثنا الحسن بن علي بن شعيب الجوهري (رضي الله عنه)، قال: حدثنا عيسى بن محمد العلوي، قال: حدثنا الحسين بن الحسن الحيري بالكوفة، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن الحسين العرني، عن عمرو بن جميع، عن [ عمرو بن ] (3) أبي المقدام، قال: قال الصادق (عليه السلام) جعفر بن محمد (عليهما السلام): نزلت هاتان الآيتان في أهل ولايتنا وأهل عداوتنا (فأما إن كان من المقربين * فروح وريحان) يعني في قبره (وجنت نعيم) (4) يعني في الآخرة (وأما إن كان من المكذبين الضالين * فنزل من حميم) يعني في قبره (وتصلية جحيم) (5) يعني في الآخرة (6).
