My father narrated to us. He said: `Abdullah b. Ja`far al-Himyari narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from his father from Yunus b. `Abd al-Rahman from Mansur al-Sayqal from al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad from his forefathers . He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: When I was taken up to heaven, my Lord implored me with three phrases. He said: “O Muhammad!” So, I said: “I am at Your service, my Lord.” So, He said: “Surely, `Ali is the Imam of the Godfearing, the Leader of the Shining Believers, and the Chief of the Believers.”
