Al-Hasan b. `Ali b. Shu`ayb al-Jawhari narrated to us. He said: `Isa b. Muhammad al-`Alawi narrated to us. He said: Al-Husayn b. al-Hasan al-Hayri narrated to us in Kufa. He said: Al-Hasan b. al-Husayn al-`Urni narrated to us from `Amr b. Jami` from `Amr b. Abi’l Miqdam. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad said:

These two verses were revealed for the people of our wilaya and our enemies, “Thus, then, if he is of those brought near, then relief and satisfaction” – meaning, in his grave, “and the Paradise of Bliss” (56:88-89) – meaning, in the Hereafter – “and if he is of those who bely the truth and are misguided, then he will be in boiling water” – meaning, in his grave – “burning in Hell” (56:92-94) – meaning, in the Hereafter.
